Integrated structural biology (Vincent Villeret)
Main research axes of the integrated structural biology group
Our aim is to provide better understanding of structural and functional aspects of biological macromolecular complexes. We use a combination of biochemical and biophysical techniques (protein crystallography, NMR, SAXS, SANS), cellular and molecular biology. Our studies help to understand the molecular mechanisms of the regulation of gene expression in eukaryotes and the mechanisms of bacterial pathogenicity, and provide a basis for drug design.
